Louis R. De Groote
Louis is a native of Ghent, who after graduating from high school (Sint-Barbaracollege, 2005), and his law studies (University of Ghent, 2010), has decided to continue his training abroad in the form of a Master of Laws (LL.M) and Law & Economics in Hamburg and Vienna (2011).
As a trainee lawyer, he settled in Brussels from September 1, 2011, where he acquired a first experience within the old law firm Laga (Deloitte Legal) and the Anglo Saxon law firm Ashurst Brussels.
In 2013 he returned to the Ghent area to focus mainly on criminal law and criminal proceedings in complex criminal cases, under the supervision of Lawyer Hans Rieder (law firm Rieder & Verdonck).
In 2020, the next logical step was the creation of an own law firm with a contemporary name.
Useful information
This lawyer has very good skills of the Dutch language, but as well French and English.
Louis also followed the special cassation training in criminal matters and the special training assistance during interviews under the Salduz-Supralat (2019) Act.
